Our Mission:

At Remnant 66, we exist to serve the message of Christ’s gospel and believe in the Bible, the full Bible, with all parts being equally valid and relevant to our lives today as they were to the ancients of the old day. Despite what many are still being taught in churches around the world, Jesus never told us to disregard the teachings of the Scriptures'. As a matter of fact, he does exactly the opposite when he tells us in Matthew 5:17 -

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

We have all heard this verse before but how does it sound when we learn that the word "law" was inserted when the Bible was translated from Hebrew to Greek. The original word was Torah, which means teachings or instructions.

How does that verse sound now?

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Teachings or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

We invite you to walk through the Bible, all parts of it, with fresh eyes, willing to learn new ideas and form new opinions based on what the scripture says, not a church.

Our Confession

“For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭

We exist to serve the message of Christ’s gospel.

Jesus was miraculously born as a baby by a virgin and perfectly lived as a man, while also being fully divine in nature, as Christ is fully God and fully man. Therefore, burdening Himself by becoming a bond servant, existing in the flesh. All while denying Himself the right to access His divinity at a moments notice.

In doing so, He submitted Himself in full obedience to the will of God the Father, who only supersedes Christ’s authority in role, not person. They are of the same substance, as is The Holy Spirit. Meaning God is 3 persons, 1 in being, fully divine and unified in all ways.

Christ lived in such obedience, He was even obedient to death. Death on a cross made from wood. Wood He created. Nailed to it with iron He created. A form of a torturous death, created in the minds of men. Men whom He created.

It was Gods will and pleasure to punish Jesus for our sins. Satisfying His holy wrath so as to make atonement for the sins of humanity. So, as anyone who would place their faith in Christ would be saved from the wrath to come, and be given eternal life. A life filled with the joy of glorifying God and enjoying Him forever. Consequently, it is now possible for us to be reconciled to God. The one true and everlasting God, who we lived in rebellion against. Defying Him in all our ways. Therefore, we are indeed only saved by grace. For we deserved judgement, and it is only by Gods mercy that we are not judged in this life, doomed to live hell fire for all eternity.

Since God has transformed us by His grace, we are compelled by His loving kindness to carry out the commandments found in the Great Commission. A Great Commission given by our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

Accomplishing this work by equipping the saints with truth from Gods word, seeking to pursue His righteousness in all ways, and pursuing those who are still wandering lost, waiting to hear this good news.

We do this because of Christ. Who exists as our only truth, the firmest foundation.

God bless you all.
